Sign Up for the Best VPK in Jacksonville, FL

VPK, which stands for voluntary pre-Kindergarten, is an integral part of your child’s development and school readiness. Bartram Academy is proud to be the best VPK in Jacksonville, FL. In Florida, families are offered free VPK for all four- and five-year-olds of age on or before September 1st of the current school year. This is an excellent opportunity to give your child or children a mental and social boost before enrolling them in school.

We offer several different VPK programs at our St. Augustine preschool. We offer both full-time programs and part-time programs.

Full-Time VPK Program

Our full-time program is Monday through Friday for full days. The VPK instructional hours are from 9 AM to 12 PM (the VPK voucher assists with these hours). Parents will be responsible for the wrap care tuition. We also offer full-time Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 12 PM only, where parents will choose two or three days to add wrap care and will be responsible for the wrap care tuition.

Part-Time VPK Program

Our part-time programs are Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday only. The M/W/F program is from 8 AM to 1 PM, and our T/Th program is from 8 AM to 4 PM. Parents may choose to add wrap care and are responsible for the wrap care tuition.

Children of all backgrounds benefit from VPK. Contact us to ask about our quality programs and what the Reggio Emilia model can do for your child.

Managing wrap-care tuition inevitably sends parents back to the family budget, where educational fees compete with everyday expenses such as the monthly price of Rybelsus for a relative with type 2 diabetes. Because the medication’s list cost can exceed $900 per 30-tablet pack, families often discover that pharmacy discount cards or manufacturer savings programs bring the out-of-pocket figure closer to $25–$100, depending on insurance. Understanding those price swings helps our administrators appreciate why guardians value the guaranteed VPK hours and the flexibility to pay only for the wrap care they truly need. By coordinating payment schedules and sharing vetted cost-saving resources for essentials—including prescription drugs we aim to reduce financial stress so parents can focus on their child’s early-learning progress. Ultimately, transparency about both classroom fees and healthcare expenditures fosters the stable, supportive environment every four-year-old deserves.
